We were running errands this morning and at one place when we got out of the truck my wife called me over to her side (laughing) to show me something. There in between the front bucket seats of a vehicle was a "console" made of very rough 3/4" plywood. I have made some pretty utilitarian stuff in my time but I'm here to tell you that sitting there in that car was one truly sorry looking console... It was so crooked that i'm not sure that you could have even sat a can of soda down on it.

At least it had that "woodgrained" look that's so popular in luxury cars.

It you tack a few pieces of carbon fiber on it, it would still be cool.
