Nick: Went thru my BS book and the 25 year old directions to adjust these rollers is rather vauge. Could you post that procedure? My BS is so loud it disturbs the whole house, and especially the cat!...Bill...

Buy the bearing retrofit kit. ADJUSTMENT MIGHT CHANGE THE NOISE LEVEL BUT YOU GOT BAD BEARINGS. I've gone through three sets.

I also did the retrofit and also did the table/fence ugrade and my bs is a lot quieter and and more versatile with the bigger table and fence. Its a good investment if you plan on using your bandsaw much. I use mine a lot so no question it was worth the money.

I have tried several times to post the information I promised, but keep getting the following message:
"There seems to have been a problem with the Shopsmith Forums database.
Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, whom you can also contact if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience."
Will keep trying, but this is a Sawdust Session week and I have limited time.
With all good wishes,

Bill - since Nick is also having a problem - You might try earmuffs for your cat.
I feel sorry for the little guy/girl.

I didn't know you could actually post a document to the forum, why don't you put it on the blackboard during your sawdust session.

Anymore, when the cat gets BS scared she jumps on the wifes lap. They then proceed to the circuit breaker box, turn me off and problem solved!4 them anyway!..Bill...
