There is a headstock listing eBay (221172031782) right now that has aroused my curiosity. It sports SN 84999, is rough gray textured in a "C" headstock.

Is that consistent with what we think we know about headstocks?

I think that the number makes it an 81 model. My machine ia a 1983 and has the toggle switch. Probably a mix and match headstock.

The belt cover does not go with that casting. Someone has cobbled together parts....maybe a new casting for an old headstock????? If I were the seller I would provide a little more information like is it a single or double bearing quill.....

The RED switch on the "C" headstock was introduced in 1991.
