That is the Woodworking Shows and this show is held every year the first weekend after New Year's day. It is usually a good show but in recent years I have been less than impressed with the shows. Not enough vendors and not many real bargains. However it is still a good show for the little how to segments put on by Wood Magazine and some manufacturers.
I used to go every year when I lived just north of you in Hanover.

If you go and get bored you could always check out the
Hot Tub Blowout Expo! Same weekend.

We visited a hot tub expo last year. What a bust. We had definite ideas what we were looking for. Three different salesmen showed us the same junk and each quoted a higher price than the prior guy. All disagreed on what was available and what was already sold. We changed our mind by the time we left the event and will likely never buy one. Jim

I may have to check this out myself. I live west of you in Frederick, MD. I have never been to a wood show.

There are two ways to go to a Woodworking Show. Either takes lots of money or take just enough to eat well and get back home.

Good observation.
I have done both. Remarkably on the show when I did take a good bit of money along I didn't spend a dime except for lunch.
