Maybe yours is gone because you never use it but it is still there.

I am sorry that you do not utilize the Community Forum. You are mission out on a lot of the action.

Yes, you are also avoiding a lot that you may not appreciate (for your own reasons) but there is a lot of informative and entertaining discussion in the Community Forum.

Thankfully you have not sworn off the Forum all together.:)

If I don't click on the 'root' Shopsmith Forums, I will only see the first four forums. So then I simply click on Shopsmith Forums and BAM!- they are all there. There's a good thread right now talking about food…under Got My Fill & another about Lost Wages and the Hoover Dam.

There are two 'Main' forums - Main Woodworking and Community. The Community may be a unique forum by itself and not a 'main' one orrr when there is only one sub, it stands by itself.(JMWAG)

Do you not see community posts when using the 'new posts' function?

I rarely 'click' on the forum titles.

I for one always read the community section. If truth be known it is usually the first group that I read. Always a lot of interesting subjects under that heading.

You can hide the Community Forum when you click on the underlined blue words "Main Woodworking Forum" , You can again see it if you click on the words "Shopsmith Forums".

On those days when computer time is limited, I also skip the Community Forum. Lately, it seems there is an expanded interest in the Community forum. It is mostly filled with opinions on political happenings and duplicates what is found on TV and in newspapers. If you like this kind of stuff, and have time, it can be interesting. Hardly nothing new, but gives an opportunity for members to vent and to challenge thinking of others. Interesting to me that our members have never become viscous or threatening to other members. The Community Forum is fit for those that love to offer their opinion on various subjects but it is not meant to relate to woodworking.

In the last few days I have seen several subjects in the Community Forum That truly belong in parts of the Woodworking Forum. Items such as reviewing or commenting on other brands of tools should more appropriately be located in the Woodworking tool Review Forum.
