I was rust reading a post:

And it reminded me of a picture I took back at the end of Oct. 2011 and forgotten about. I've seen these before, maybe this is a ski area thing but I liked it. I'm still waiting to build my first chair and this will not likely be the first one but I do like it so if I live long enough it might be a possibility.

I think the 'ski' version needs rear vertical supports like Wayne eagle's.

A few summers back at a Farmers Market there was a small outfit selling Salsa. They had an Adirondack with a very clever way of looking like a set of peppers -- combination of shapes and colors. Really a cool way to have "custom furniture" without an enormous outlay -- I was impressed.
