Anyone use pump sleeves for their sanding? If so what kind, size ect.
Do you use them on the drill press or handheld or mounted on a grinder style motor?

Here's the one I use.
SEYCO Nearly the same as the pneumatic one. I use it mounted in the chuck in the horizontal position. But then, I'm usually shaping with it and a table would interfere with the movement of the work.

I also use the SS pneumatic drum sander and love it. I am hoping someday I can get ceramic sleeves for it!

Not many responses here. Thanks guys for your input. I bought a small inflatable drum and use it in my drill press for sanding spoons n such. It's the coolest thing ever, its just too small. With a larger diameter and a longer drum, a guy could do alot of sanding damage in a short period of time. I think the place for these is horizontal as well. The SS version seems a little pricey but I haven't looked around much yet.
