Tulsa Jointers

Any 4" Jointer owners is the Tulsa area?

Just looking for someone who has changed the cutters for some advice.

Each knife has three screws in the wedge, pay attention to the correct direction of the wedge when you remove it. One side is straight and one is angled. Under the outside of the wedge on both sides are the leveling screws. Watch the Shopsmith sessions or how you set the knives to the proper height. There is a way you can do it by drawing two lines a certain distance and seeing how the blade pulls them forward.

Just found out Session 6 particularly, the part on setting jointer knives is no longer available. Grrrrrr....

Yes, you seem to be right, at least for my Mac at work. I know that most of the videos are flash and don't work with iPads. I'll send the Admin a quick note.

Admin replied back that the video in no longer available and that they updated the page to note that.
