I guess you can actually build stuff with a Shopsmith

While it seems like sometimes all I do is putz with my machines, every now & then I use them for woodworking.
My youngest son & wife are now expecting their first, and it was their turn to receive a project, so I decided to make a cradle. After a bit of research, I decided to buy a full size set of cradle plans to use as a guide for dimensions & structure. I used this one.

As you can see, I changed the look considerably but kept it functionally the same. The ends are frame & panel. The woods are ash from a tree that went down on our property and cherry. I went with a contemporary style to go with my son's furniture.[ATTACH]20655[/ATTACH]
