SS router table insert for MV with incra ultra fence.
Has anyone had one of the SS router table that is held up by the tubes?
My first one was warped which was replaced, I didn't notice at the time that my insert was also warped. And SS no longer sells them so can't get replacement. It has been about 4 years since I ordered it. . So today I went and bought a jessem router lift which looks great but alas doesn't fit the table .
Any ideas on how to trim the corners out with out going to far.

I had a similar issue with my jessem aluminum router plate in the shopsmith table. I ended up sanding it by hand to get it to fit. A long process, but it fits nice and snug now.

Since you have a router, right? Now does the jessem have template guides or does it take an adapter to use template guides? Next question would be do you have some straight router bits?
If so then the solution can be to just make a template and route the table to the correct size.
Now when you said corner did you mean that the rounded corners don't match or is the whole x-y dimension wrong?
More questions come to mind, anyway you can post a picture of what your table looks like?
after a little sanding I got it all to fit. I went a little overboard woops.
but as I was putting the insert in I noticed that the insert levelers and hold down screws don't go into anything. just air, which got me thinking I should probebly make an insert to go under the router and attach it with some aluminum angle so the lift can be fastened/leveled properly.
So damagi did you have an issue with the weight of your lift overwhelming the little insert levelers in your table?

it was just the rounded corners were the wrong radius. the x-y were perfect, well almost a light sanding had it slipping in.
