This project is from Wood Magazine Issue #203. The original design called for unfinished woods. S/he used several exotic species for this. I used pine from HD and acrylic paints. The stock is 1/2" thick. It was made with a Delta scroll saw. I made two sets.

Very nice. I get my greatest satisfaction making toys and wall hangings for the kids, grandkids, and extended family.
