Finally put a set of Rockler Workbench Casters on my bench. Very nice, highly recommended. Easy to install. Rolls like a dream. I made a drilling template, which made installation even easier.

I like them. You can drop the bench down on the legs when you want stability, but raise the bench up easily to move it around. Also, it is nice in the winter that I can keep the bench up to avoid the snow and ice that melts off the cars.

Great job. When I saw the pictures I wondered how you managed to sneak into my shop to take them. Then I realized you used different wood than mine. Your reasoning is right on target and the wheels work flawlessly for my similar application. Jim

Thanks Jim. Bought those casters months ago, not sure why I sat so long with the box unopened. I've got some more things to put on wheels, hopefully I won't procrastinate so long on those. I also have a drill press shorty I'd like to make. Another project is to take the Norm Abram assembly table that I made years ago and break it down into 2 tables. It's a very nice table but it's huge, just too big for my shop. Then I need to go through my band saw and put some tires on it. I'd also like to integrate hand planes in my work. I took a very inspiring class this winter. Oh, I bought some stuff to start making pens, which I have not yet touched. I guess this is where the old joke comes from...How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!
