how best to ship a Mark V from WA to OK

Post by woodrell »

We have a friend that has given us a "new" shopsmith if we will ship it to OK. They bought it and after it sitting in their garage for several years they decided not to use it..

My problem is I would like to know from some one who knows about this machine on how to best ship it. Price is not as big a concern as safety to the machine itself.

They live in WA near the coast and I live close to OKC

Thanks for any help

Nicely explained:) ! Don't forget to tighten the headstock locks before packing the headstock. See this thread: http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/showthread.htm?t=1235
