Doesn't sound like he knows much about it. (I think it can be set up as a drill press and saw as well.) Yes it is a little high.

The "I think" part about being turned into a saw makes me wonder if he's missing the table - hard to believe if he had that that it wouldn't be obvious it's also a table saw. As for the price, it would depend in part on how complete it was in terms of parts and accessories but it does not have the speed changer but does have the retractable casters...allegedly has a new motor and potentially missing parts...I personally wouldn't give him more than $50 but I could see someone in need paying as much as $100 if it had all the main parts.
