Haven't heard from "Dusty" lately on this forum. Has anyone got any info on him? I miss his insight.

Probably building a new jig! He logged in yesterday according to his profile so I assume he is ok.

Wasn't he planning to go fetch the Camper he's going to fix up? Maybe he's on the road...

He could be hiding from the heat.
It's been in the 106-110 range, most of the week. But, Tucson is MUCH, (at least 5 degrees) cooler than here in Mesa.
Had a customer at the store, complaining about having to work outside yesterday. Way up in the White Mountains, where it got up to 68. I told him to SHUT UP. He laughed at me.
Dusty, send up a signal flare, and we'll find you. (Or, send ice water.)

He posted this morning on the beginning woodworking under finger joint thread.
Now, he said nothing about his absence the last while..
A couple of theories:
The Arizona heat has kept him holed up with the a/c unit.
He went to get that camper with the motorhome , and has been
broke down somewhere in the heat.
He has purchased a new POWER PRO, and has been writing a thesis on how great it is to use........................
or?????????????????????????

He is probably out in the trailer. If he has not opened those windows though, the temperature inside that trailer is well in excess of 100°.

This, as stated in an earlier post, is my new "distraction". We bought this trailer originally in 1969 and then reacquired it just a couple weeks ago. It is my plan to be back on the road with it before next spring.
SWMBO has not yet agreed to this but I would like to spend my next birthday in Branson, MO and then swing wide through Biloxi, Corpus Cristi and El Paso on the return trip.
Well, enough of this. I have plumbing and wiring to do before I start repaneling the inside. Thankfully, I have no water leaks to chase down or fix.
I hope I can say that after the new roof top A/C has been installed.

Wow nice old trailer Dusty. You'll have to tell the story sometime. If that trailer was from Minnesota you'd find all kinds of rot under the paneling. Perhaps not so in the desert? What a great project!

Dusty, after Corpus you might as well take 77 South to Harlingen then head up 83 along the Rio Grande River all the way to El Paso if you are into sightseeing. The Valley is full of orange groves and palm trees and TexMex Food. Of course you might have to dodge a a bullet or two along the way
