when was the 50th aniversary modlr made?

Mine was manufactured in 2005, but I believe that "50th Anniversary" models were made for a few years.

1953 was the first year of the Mark 5........so from 2003. They may have kept using the special 50th access cover plate until they were all used up.

i have 3 1994 510s marked 50th aniversary,just wondering when they started?

Just got home so I checked my two headstocks with the 50th Medalion and one was made in 2001 and one was in 2002.

Are the 50th Anniversary models (sold by Shopsmith) all 510s? I am sure that a significant number of them have been upgraded but what were they coming out of the factory?
A little bit of browsing and I may have answered my own question.
This post by an member of the forum clearly states that there was a Model 500 Anniversary Edition. That raises a question. Just what anniversary are we talking about.

My 2005 machine is a 520, and I've always assumed that it was shipped that way. I can check the paperwork that came with it this evening.
