I'm thinking about making my Magna jigsaw a free standing tool.
What size pulley wheels should I use on the saw and motor?
Motor is 1/2 hp 1725 rpm
Thanks

The power stand for a jig saw circa 1963 used a '3' step and a '4' step pulley.
Using a 2345 motor pulley and a 456 saw pulley gives you a 575 to 1438 range.
The jig saw manual lists a range of 745 to 1600.
SS may have used pulleys with 1/2 " step sizes.
SS 'A' to 'H' speeds are 750 - 1600.
All these numbers are 'approximate' and assume a 1725 motor speed with the cone pulleys. The pulley speeds were 'calculated'. Tables created by SS may vary.
Hope this helps!!!!:)
