was hoping to see a slew of japanese handsaws..those things rock.
Two each Shopsmith Model 500, 505, 510s. Sawsmith Model 500003. Most of the SPT goodies aside from the compressor and the Planer.

I have several hanging in the garage that belonged to my dad. I never use them; but just can't bring myself to let them go,

I should specify that I live in hillbilly country. We have plenty of antique and vintage equipment, but we draw the line at imports. Murica.

I have a few old ones that I have reconditioned and I'm learning to sharpen. I'm finding that hand tools (especially quality vintage ones setup and sharpened properly) are much faster for the "One-Off" type of wood working that I do.

They are also much much quieter and produce way less fine dust (almost none) especially with chisels and planes.

I still use my machines (especially lathe and band saw) but I'm using hand tools more and more.
