found jig

left in the shop of the house I brought are many jigs, I am sure there are plenty of "one offs", which I'll never used. When I have a little down time, I try to figure them out. I am totally lost on a bunch. Here is one that is quite well made, so the accuracy should be there.
I figure it can be used as a slot cutter for edge jointer.
notice on pix. three, there are rails on the bottom to make sure it is pushed in equal on both sides.

It looks to me like it was made to create tenon cheek cuts on a table saw.

I think I know. In fact, I think you know.
It is resting on a non-Shopsmith table saw that is equipped with a home made outfeed table with rollers.

Dusty is right, it's is a Non SS piece of crap Table Saw, with no fence.
The jig was made for that table saw, I have to take off the runners and make some for my SS. I only hope the previous owner didn't glue the runners in. more work if he did.
