I am looking for a couple of the 1" long #8 screws with a flat lever/paddle on the end that holds the front bearing in the Emerson motor. The ones I had seems to have disappeared. I would like to know what this screw is called as I cannot find any source for them. Local motor repair shops are not familar with this screw as most motors use a retaining plate to hold the bearings. If anyone has a spare one or two of these screws or know where to obtain them, please let me now. Thanks.

Are these in any Emerson motor or just the Mark V motor. I have a "spare parts motor" from the Crafter's Station. If what you need is there - it is yours.

Me Too!

I am also 'missing' a couple.

IIRC, I used a washer and nut on one motor that was missing this funky screw. Not a good work-around, since a loose nut inside the motor would not be good. I think I just left only one side of the bearing etc. loose on another. Neither motor shall ever leave my possession.
