If you could see my other table, you'd understand why I needed this.:o :o
The plans came from Woodsmith.
Only modified them so the table would work on the SS.

Sacrificial center section?

I would add something to indicate centering over blade insert slot or center hole.

Nice 'adaptation'. Commode mounting bolts?

Never mind, I just looked at the plans!

Thanks, JPG.
Please explain your highlighted suggestion. Why would I need to do that?

Since the table is referenced to the miter slot, the in/out position of the ss table will make it vary relative to the quill shaft axis.

Now if ya never drill through the table it does not matter, however Murphy says some day that shall come to pass.

On that day I would prefer none of the ss table top surface be 'on axis'.;)

O.K., I see. There are a few holes in one of my older tables.
Other than the 30" width, the possibility of more holes is why I built the table.
I'm hoping that 1" of material above the table will save the table.;)
