Hi Paul,
The difference between the pairs that look the same might be that one is "stamped carbon steel" and the other is "premium". Here are some links that show descriptions. You did not give part numbers, so I do not know which ones you are looking at.

The 2006 Mark V Accessory Catalog also lists 2 that I could not find in the on-line catalog;
555386 (1/16" combo blade with 24 TPI raker for cutting wood and plastic up to 1" thick)
555000 (1/8" wood blade with 15 TPI raker for cutting wood and plywood up to 3" thick)

I hope this helps.:D

At least weekly. One got posted yesterday: Email Special - Bandsaw Blades. Two other recent ones - Dust Covers and Hands On CDs.

Actually, that's what started this thread. Duh.

I suspect your specials are being discarded by your ISP as junk mail.

Or, as was the case for me, Shopsmith lost your email address. Contact customer support and make sure they have an email address for you.

I got 2 emails for the same sale on blades... sorry I must have gotten one that was for someone else... only kidding.

I guess they want to keep it an email only thing otherwise they could make it a email/forum thing and add a section for that where the specials were posted???

If you check the yahoo group they often repost the sales there.

Hi scottss,
My ISP automatically eliminates "spam". I changed my settings, and even though they still mark it as "spam", I request that they forward it to me anyway. The SS address is set as one that I always want to get mail from (at my preferences page on my ISP web site), so I do not understand why about 20% of it comes marked as "spam". This problem is definitely NOT the fault of ShopSmith.

I got at least two different ones this week. I am sure they have multiple lists, I was getting some to Paul Cohen and some to PaulMCohen and some to both names, the email addresses were the same.

I complained to customer service now I seem to just get everything to same address and name and no more dumplicates.
