You Have Probably Noticed

that I am loosing it. I mean big time, I am loosing it.

I have just finished about an hours' worth of research trying to determine why I could no longer reduce the size of a Sketchup file so that I could post it here on the forum.

Well, I finally figured out that I have never been able to reduce the size of an skb formatted file. To post a Sketchup image, you need to export it which results in it being converted to a png.

As always, right click on a png file and you are given the option to resize it.

Really, I spent nearly an hour trying to solve this mystery so that I could post this. I am slowly redeveloping my file of Sketchup drawings after crunching my flash drive.

Dusty, I have a Mac and right-clicking on a .png file gives me no option to re-size other than Zip compression which is negligible.

Are you on Windows or do you have some other file installed?

I use Photoshop Elements to re-size the image. Expensive but it does get other uses.

Dusty, about a year ago, I got some non-skid tape from my brother in Queen Creek. It went on the bottom of my can crusher, to keep the cans from firing out.

Since the trailer fire, I recently (yesterday) asked him if I could get another foot or so.
He doesn't remember having it. (This was all on emails) I sent an email back, saying that Newegg has memory on sale, but it was only for computers.

I WISH that someone sold memory for HUMANS!:D

Maybe, you (and I) need some more memory. Newegg?:D

I think that capacity is not really the problem. If I had more to remember and the capacity to do so, I would just loose more.

Seriously, what happens with me from time to, time is bothersome. Maybe it is just old age but then maybe it is something more disconcerting. I am only 74, so I have many years to look forward to and I hope to be mentally fit through all of those.

Says the man who admits to already 'loosing' it!]remembers [/B]everything! His problem is retreival!

So we do not have memory issues. In my own 'case', retrieval still works, it just takes longer(like some other things:D). YMMV:rolleyes:
