An honor to visit a true Gentleman and Craftsman

Like a kid in a candy store I had the honor and privilege to visit Fred Sheldon's shop over the weekend. When I grow up I want to be just like Fred ! Wow it was as impressive as I thought and hoped for and Fred lived up to my expectations as well. As a past owner of a Mark V and all the accessories (sold everything 10 years ago) I am now getting back into the fold. I just purchased almost everything I had before and went to visit Fred for advice and encouragement. It is beyond words and well beyond kindness how Fred made me feel so welcomed and willing to help in every way. What an honor and resource I have in having Fred 20 minutes away and so willing to teach me the ropes. His setup is unique at best and left me wanting everything he has. I was so encouraged to know I have him available to help expand my inventory and learn how to get everything refurbished and up to speed. He has me convinced I can refurb a 10er So I started looking as soon as I got home. Fred let me watch him work for a little while and I left so comforted that I knew I had a new friend and colleague to work with in the future. It is a shame not everyone can have this privilege. Of course I will be back as soon as possible. Thanks Fred !

Fred is an awesome guy. He helped me get a 510 that was for sale in Houston. He paid for it, disassembled it, and held it for me to drive down from Dallas. He even gave me plastic to protect my cars interior and helped me load it.

My first pic
