Did you put the lathe spur on the arbor, or did it come that way?

Looks like a sweet E. Also looks like you've got most of the parts
to make it an ER, too.

I've got to ask, how much $?

hi Steve, $125. everything is as it came including the spur. the original (probably based on the paperwork) owner upgrade to the ER extension table and fence. I'm missing the drill chuck, miter gauge and saw arbor so far, still unboxing...

You've got the saw arbor, the lathe spur is mounted on it.

Oh, $125? I've seen speedchangers go for that much. Did
the seller call the police, 'cause you STOLE that baby. :D

You also have the jigsaw, or most of it.

The drill chuck from your 500 will work and
possibly the 500 saw arbor, if it's 5/8ths.

The miter gauge will not fit the ER table.

I also saw the E model extension table bracket,
and tailstock. I mounted a board to my E ext
bracket, drilled some large holes in it, and mounted
it on the headrest end, to hold lathe chisels, while turning.

Here is a good source for all things ER.

What's the serial#? Definitely an ER rip fence and I don't think that type of table riser came with the early 10E's. Good score, especially with the working speed changer and it all looks to be in good shape. I take it the drive is too far away to want to go back for the stand?

Thanks guys!

Steve, great link!

Serial number E2452

I would love to drive back up there - picked it up near Bucknell University on a beautiful Fall day only a week after peak color, then went hiking with my family in The Endless Mountains of Northern PA... days like that don't come often! But I told the guy to keep the bench, he's going to miss his 10E, and yes it was a steal, but he knows it's going to a good home :)

I have some of the jigsw, but pretty sure not all of it. Looking forward to the 5:00 whistle today so I can do a better inventory!

Video link busted.:( Now ok!

Searched it out: Definitely a steal! Also an ER rip fence, ER tailstock(and an E tailstock with wooden ext table), Main table appears to be E version(not enough detail to be sure), riser E, Original motor.

Jig saw will need a very short coupler(look for a coupler with rubber center section) with 5/8" ends. About 2" long IIRC.

Shaper/jointer table in de box. Mortising tool in de cardboard box. Face plate, sanding disk, upper pulley guard, some stuff I did not recognize.

'Blue prints'! Bench I assume.

A word re the speed changer - turn slowly so as to not fully compress the springs connecting the adjustment shaft to the movable axle. There is sufficient force to break them if gorilla'd.

U dun gud!:D

my hand was way shaky on the vid, so i clicked on the stabilizer in the youtube control panel and the video seems to be offline while it's processed - it will be back and if the link changes I'll edit the original post.

... yeah.. and everything I read says the original AOSmith can't be reversed, but mine reverses like a champ! Any thoughts?

Between the speed changer and the reverse I am a pig in poo! :D :D :D
