How does Steel Sanding Disc attach to arbor?

I bought on eBay just the arbor that the steel sanding disk attaches to (http://www.ebay.com/itm/190893827833). Mainly because it saved my mother several pounds in the luggage to bring it over to Slovakia when she came to visit. As can be seen in the photos on eBay, it has 4 holes, which are 1/8" threaded with countersinks on apparently the wrong side.

I imagine that the steel disk would have countersinks in it, then screws would pass through to the arbor, but why on earth does the arbor have those countersinks on that side?

I've got some steel plate which a friend can turn on his lathe to fit the arbor...

Can ya post a pic of the arbor since the ebay item has been removed?

The eBay item number is correct but a trailing bracket got included in the link.

The steel disc has four corresponding holes (to the arbor/hub) that have been counter sunk to accept socket style flat head machine screws.

The tapered part of the screw head is 'thicker' than the steel plate(disk). The csink in the arbor should match the screw taper when tightened. The disk thickness and countersink depth will affect the match up.

Thanks- that makes sense. Happily I have found a source for self adhesive sandpaper disks here.

Just, on account of a lack of the proper screws, I'll tap the holes out for M5 screws.
