looking for info on old shopsmith

Post by flipper412 »

I am the proud owner of a model 10-ER, it is a fantastic machine in prime condition. I believe I may be missing the belt guard. Any way I was just looking for other owners of older shopsmiths who may know of places where parts and accessories may be purchased. I realize that the machine is over 50 years old but you never know what is out there until you look.

Parts for the 10ER are readily available on eBay. The 10ER has quite a following of enthusiasts right now. A great place to start is the Yahoo Shopsmith10ERusers group. Here's some links to more resources...

Hope this helps! Best regards,

Hey flipper, I have and still use a ShopSmith that I brought in 1975. I just order a new saw blade to replace the saw blade that came with the ShopSmith. I sorry I do not know where you can find a model 10-ER. If I run ionto one..I will get with you. Keep cutting and sawing until you get R done.
