Thought I'd share a couple photos of the Dump Truck from "Wood" magazine plans.

Sweet! Is that destined for a lucky young boy? I made a pretty crude one for my little boy a long time ago, and it was nevertheless a favorite toy for years.

Plans called for maple and walnut. I used poplar and walnut. Had just a little bit of walnut in the shop and actually didn't have enough, so put some poplar in the fenders to make racing stripes.

Wheels, axels acorn nuts and steel 10 x 32 rods were supplied in a kit I ordered from "Wood" magazine web site. This kit can also be ordered from Meisel Woodworking.
