Humidor : Cherry and Spanish Cedar

I didn't build this...my Dad did over a decade ago (probably even longer).

The only things he didn't make from scratch are the hinges and the lion. He even did the beading. I probably should have dusted it off, but oh well.

Is the top made out of cherry? I have a bunch of cherry that has that chikoyence (reflects the light). Spelling is incorrect. I plan to build my grand daughters each a desk with that top. I have never seen a lot of cherry with that feature.

When I took the pictures he said the outside is all cherry and the inside is all Spanish cedar. I can ask him about what he finished it with if you want.

I agree, maybe I'll get him some for Christmas. It used to be packed but he smoked em all...

Chatoyance is the correct spelling.;)
