Treasure Box: Padauk and Cedar

Same as the other box I posted: My Dad built this well over a decade ago.
I should have dusted it off first.
There is a box at my grandma's house he built out of purpleheart and it has a gorgeous inlay. I'll try to post that one if/when I ever get pictures. It was always my favorite.

Very very nice work. I can see why it is a favorite. Thanks for posting, I can only hope my work some day elevates to that level.

Again - Tell Dad he has piqued my interest and inspiration in his woodworking skills. It's always a good thing to see other's finished projects. Thanks for posting!
Again - Excellent worksmanship! even with interlocking miter joints.

I asked my grandma about the purpleheart box and she "sold" it at a United Way charity auction (with my Dad's blessing). As sad as it makes me that it's gone...it did go for over $500
Hopefully the United Way used the money well.
