Well I started my DIY Power Pro up grade today. So far so good. Tomorrow morning I'll get back to it. I'm on the putting it back together portion. Video is very helpful. The parts included are great and I can't see a need for anything else.

Not easy! Getting the the remaining shaft removed is the major problem. Careful drilling/easy out(maybe). Then comes what to replace it with. The original is a twist rivet(hardened). It could be drilled and tapped for a screw with a properly sized head, but replacing the twist rivet is preferred.

Orrrr replace the quill shaft.;)

I drilled out as much of the hole as I could. It didn't look as if the old twist pin went in very far. I took one off my old motor and put it in the hole. It did get enlarged a little so I filled it with JB weld and I'll see how strong it is tomorrow
