Mark VII and guards

A while ago I picked up a old Mark VII (with a good cam and most of the gear rack). I'm think about guards. Because of the the table size, I'm sure the upper guard form a 500 wouldn't fit (being too short). Unless someone here knows how to get around that? But I am thinking would the lower guard from a 500 fit? At least with the table flat. What do we know about this.
