That is a weird looking Shopsmith with the lock down on the left. Looks like it has been rode hard :eek: :eek: You sure would'nt be moving it around the shop much.

Farmer, that looks like it might be the remains of a Mark VII from the speed control and one end part holding the tubes. Not worth the asking price but I am sure a much cheaper offer for the parts would be acceptable in a few weeks.

I thought it was a VII, but it also looks like it could be what's left of a II. Maybe?

Are we sure it's even really a Shopsmith? Possibly an older copycat machine mounted on a funky stand?

I am not aware of any Mark VII clones and that headstock started life as a Mark VII.
