visit to Nashville

Driving by car to Nashville to visit daughter from 21st to 29th Dec. (three days drive from Nova Scotia if I don't end up in a snow drift somewhere):eek:
Actually we are leaving N.S. on Thursday for Myrtle Beach to visit friends for a few days before going on to Nashville.
Can anyone familiar with either area recommend a must see/visit place (store?) for a Shopsmith owner also interested in metal work?:D
