Here's a project I've been working on since I got my SS. The general structure is made from aluminum extrusion; brand is 80/20, profile shape is 15 series, bought it on E-bay. The table top and supports to hold the table are made from mdf. The kreg clamps fit perfectly into the aluminum extrusion. Which hold my work either to the front of the bench or onto the top. I think part of my design inspiration comes from the festool mtf table, and the other part is from the kreg table.

I've used the table a few times already as an out feed table. I need to make the table height adjustable, but I have a few ideas. If I have to I'll just make another table out of the aluminum and leave off the mdf. The aluminum structure alone weighted maybe 30lbs, give or take.

Almost finshed!! Just need to add a couple coats of sand and seal to bench tops and build a shelf.

You do some awesome work, I hope it all works out for you. I have a couple ideas myself for my SS but it won't be so nice.

That looks exactly like what I want. What do you figure it cost with the Aluminum? How much Aluminum did you buy? Do you have plans particularly the aluminum extrusions lengths and cuts.

Super nice, though I can only imagine the cost. The extrusions can be spendy. Am I seeing correctly in that you pained the mdf underneath silver? That's not solid aluminum...that would be crazy expensive.

Thanks for posting that, I've been looking at the 80/20 components myself for a modified version of Dusty's outfeed table. Keep us posted as how well the table works for you.

I have roughly $150-200 in aluminum extrusions. 80/20 has an ebay store, where they sell overstock and cancelled order pieces. Just make sure to check for combined shipping to save some $$.

I don't have a plan, or cut list, just bought the pieces to the lengths available. They call the 80/20 extrusions the industrial erector set, so there was some fun in just free form design.

The other pieces underneath the top rail are mdf, painted in "aluminum color". I thought it was a nice color match.
