Can anyone tell me if this will fit the eccentric on a MKV tail stock? Thank you!

Why do you want to place a drive in the tailstock?

It's not a drive, it's a live center with a hole in it. Works well with an "A" mandrel (used for 7mm tubes).

I initially thought that, but the description using the word 'live' through me off. That and the bundling of it with a live tailstock center and a drill chuck.

One of these days I will learn to not pay any attention to Amazon detrius.

It will work well in the Shopsmith. If you have the lift assist on your Shopsmith get a tailstock extension and put the mandrel saver in it then mount in your tailstock. It allows very easy pen a7 stopper turning.

I went what I think to be a better version despite the added cost, sometimes it is just worth it.
