I got my Mark V headstock back together, new bearings and belts... Only thing is I think I have a leftover part... A copper clad spring clip. Anyone know where it goes?
I am attaching a picture...

Retaining clip for the idler sheave.

Not a dire situation.

Keep track of it and attach it the next time you tear it down.:)

The Mark VII did not even use a clip to retain the idler sheave. I find about 10% of them are missing when I disassembly a Mark V headstock. A 5/8" snap ring will work if the clip is missing and someone feels one is needed. The snap ring will be a PITA to remove the next time.
