My son has his first birthday this weekend. My daughter, now almost 3, has him surrounded with pink castles and mermaids. He needed something a little tougher. I had redone a few Tonka's in the past and their major limitation, for me, was a lack of play with action figures. With this in mind the Mark VII and I got to work. Cab was fabricated along with the trailer.

Hope the paint is baby safe.

That should entertain him for awhile besides it kept dad busy.

I have the cast iron table like you so I can't provide a review. I think there is a thread discussing a magnetic fence that works with the cast iron table and doesn't work with the newer one.

Not willing to spend the cash for the aluminum, but it it looks like a great setup. I'll have to search on the magnetic fence. That just sounds like a slick idea.
