Cope and Stick bits with Speed Increaser?

Has anyone had any experience using cope and stick bits with the Shopsmith Speed Increaser? My laser tach says I can get a top speed of 10,500 rpm out of the Speed Increaser. I am guessing this means that I will need to make each cut in at least 2 passes and I am wondering if anyone has tried this.

Thanks,

Can be done, but will probably need 4 or 5 passes.:)

thanks...I was thinking a couple of passes might be needed, but you could be right and I may need more. I am thinking I will give it a try just to see.

It might be easier and faster to do Cope and Stick on the table saw. That's what I do.

An awful lot depends on the design of the bits.
