Delta Bath Tub Faucet that is. As good as they are they sometimes drip which requires replacing washers. I did this on a shower a few years ago and it was a hassle. The problem is three-fold: The washers (4) are recessed and it is difficult to see and insert them. Two are recessed in very shallow grooves and two have a spring backing. All this must be done on a vertical surface. Today I had to do it on a bathtub faucet. The pictures show an easier solution. A 10mm deep socket holds the shallow washer. Inserting a Phillips screwdriver through the socket allows it to be positioned so that by pushing with a long screwdriver it can be pressed into place. Slowly remove the Phillips while holding the socket over the washer. Next, insert the Phillips through a tube and position the spring-backed washer on the end, insert it and repeat the process by using the tube to press the washer into place. It’s not a piece of cake but it became a fairly simple process.
