I'm feeling about halfway finished with my refurbish...you can see that there are still untouched parts in the box and some of the items have been processed...

Looks really good, just like my two 505s!

Thanks,
I was lucky...It seems to me that this Mark V was hardly even used...Mostly just dirty and some light rust ...Now I wonder what I'll find in the jointer and Jigsaw...(I was calling it a scroll saw...But it has a nameplate on it that says Jigsaw)..

It truly is a jig saw! Not PC today, but that
is the proper name.
A word of caution re the jointer. Do not let it fall, tip over, be subjected to sudden jarring. Cast Iron's virtue is also it's achille's heel. It doesn't 'yield'. Like glass in that regard.
P.S. Looking GOOD!!!!

Thanks ,
But it hasn't broken up to now....I pulled it apart today and I don't think it had the same life or history as the Mark V...
It's in pieces now and at least partly cleaned up...I got the bearings off without any major trauma...And maybe I'll go out and look for bearings tomorrow...and/or attack the dirt and rust again??
If I'm pleased with the results...I'll have to order a guard for it...Long gone as far as I can tell...
