6" blades out of favor?

I have a porter cable model 345 "saw boss" since maybe the late 1990's and have gotten blades a various stores over the years. Today I went out and went to 4 different stores looking for the 6" blade it takes. No one had one.
The new size seems to be 6-1/2", and well the other normal sizes.....
I did find that I can buy them online which will do rather then wasting money driving about. I do have a couple of more places to check but I do that when I'm there for another reason.
Might have to get two of them in case I wreck one and need an immediate replacement.
Really love this saw, just sorry it is getting so hard to find blades local.
