I have a Mark V model 510 and am considering purchasing another model 10er. The price is right, and it would be nice to be able to have 2 separate setups going at once. Plus, the 10er is the bench top version (without full length legs) so it would take up a little less space when not in use than the Mark V.

My quesiton is this:

The 10er doesn't appear to include much in the way of accessories - would any of my Mark V accessories fit? For example, if I install the Mark 5's drill chuck into the 10er so that I could leave the 10er set up as a drill press while using the Mark V as a table saw - is that a possibility?

YES, the 10ER makes an outstanding drill press. The quill shaft is 5/8" same as the Mark V. The first 2 10ERs I brought was being used only as drill presses. The Mark V SPTs will not fit on the 10ER without special adaptors. You can find these adaptors being sold on Ebay but will cost more than the 10ER. The 10ER had a 4E joiner and scroll saw available. I have made many modifications to the 10ER. If interested, let me know. Thanks.
