Anyone ever use T-molding on 3/4-inch melamine?

I'm curious if anyone has a good source for the T-molding and to find out what kind of slot cutter would be right for the molding...

I don't recall using it on melamine, though I'm sure that won't be an issue.

I buy stuff like that from Outwater Plastics. They have minimum quantities to deal with but the prices can make that worthwhile. Otherwise, I believe Woodcraft or Rockler will have it.

I don't know if this answers your question or not but I have installed the miter t-track in 3/4" hardboard and MDF. Both work fine.

I use the t-track from Shopsmith because it fits all of my t-track equipped appliances.

Don't use standard wood screws in the hardboard or MDF. There is a special screw for that purpose. Predrill all of your screw holes in hardboard or MDF.

I think that Rockler has the cutters for a router as well as the "T" moulding

They certainly do. The question is - Does it cut the size slot that you want?.

There may be more than one available at Rockler. I did not do any research.

The cutters are specifically made to cut the proper slot for the molding. MLCS has the slot cutters from 1/16" and with shank in both 1/4 and 1/2".

Tmoulding.com is the cheapest I found. I used a 6 1/2" saw blade with a 1/16" kerf in my table saw to cut the slot.
