Make sure you're searching the ENTIRE computer.. Since it sounds like you're using Windoze, you can do that using the Start-Menu and then select "search".. Once the window with the dog comes up (I'm using XP), select "all files and folders" and go from there.

After you choose "all files and folders" you must also choose "Local Hard Drive (C: )" or where ever else you want to look.
