Table bolts

The bolts that hold the tables on the Mark 5 is a bit frustrating to make and maintain level. Then adjusting the extension tables to mate the main table perfectly are difficult. The other day at the demo, I saw how the 520 tables are secured. I love the idea. I am curious if you, the forum, think I can change out the mounting bolts on my 500 tables? Is it common hardware that I can find at a local hardware store? Thanks for stopping by and responding. Will get out a bolt today and take to the hardware store.

Oh, I realize I may miss a small fraction of depth cut. No problem. :D

I made the change to studs and it is a lot easier to adjust the extension tables now.

Here is a post explaining how I did it.

I'm assuming this is what you are posting about, right?

Thank you, Ed.

I agree. That was an excellent post and I just looked for it yesterday because I was wanting to verify some things.

One suggestion: I don't know to whom this goes but Lincolnsonline.com has a tech section for such things as this. Could it be possible that this website could also have one?
