I stopped off at an Antique Store, just for the heck of it. They only had about 6 that I found. A couple wooden ones and 3 or 4 metal ones. There was only one that said Stanley-Bailey on it. It's a #4 for $15.00. I wasn't sure if that was a good price or knot. But what I was looking for was a #7.

If it's complete, I would drop $15 on a #4 I might try to haggle a bit (just on general principle) but in general not bad at all.
The market value depends on lots of things.

condition
signs of previous restoration? if yes how well or poor
etc.
Antique tool collecting is its own deep dark pit of mysteries. Hand planes especially but for really esoteric details try vintage hand saws (other than Disston) Literally dozens of different medallions, stamping, and blade etchings all with their own story/history. Some valuable most not very.

Dittos to what Terry said. A high quality new #7 will set you back close to or at $300 (I am thinking Lie-Nelsen here). This is why old Stanley #7s are a good buy if they are not beat to hell. The best Stanley plane are those labelled "Bed Rock"]

eBay is always there, but like with SS, you have to know something about condition and reasonable price. As you know, much of eBay is overpriced.
Average price for a #7 in reasonable condition is $40 - $80, a little more, perhaps as high as $125 for a Bed Rock. Also, remember that in this economy, it's a buyer's market - prices have fallen since 2007.
