I remember seeing that somewhere. I'll take a look in a bit to see if it was used or put there just to screw with our minds!:)

Can you just check the "inventory list"?

There were sealed packets which each contained a list.
Each packet had enclosed everything on the enclosed list.
I never saw a master parts list for everything.
The extra part was loose in the box.
I watched the assembly on the DVD a couple of times and did not see it.
I looked through the manual and nothing.

Maybe later today I'll mess with some scrap wood and see what happens.

I think that it was part of the packaging to protect the screw during shipment.

Well it worked fine without it

I messed up the first try but got it right on my second attempt.

The part looks like the spacer used to mount the caster assembly on the Power Station or Power Stand.

Looks like a 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/16 nylon spacer to me. I also think it is a stowaway!:D

I had one of those as well. I think it was for protecting the shaft but ended up loose in the box.

I put it with the other items from the box so in case I ever needed it for some related function I would have it.

So it is an escapee rather than a stowaway.
