This Saturday I found a DC3300 at a garage sale not far from home. For $70 it followed me home.
Here is the latest addition to my ShopSmith collection.

Great deal! I paid about $150 for mine and it's not in that nice a condition.

Is there something special about the Shopsmith dust collector I don't get or is it just desirable because it is Shopsmith.

It is desirable simply because it sucks up sawdust.

Well...maybe it is special because this is the "Shopsmith Forum". It would likely be a big loser over at the Festool site.

Great Score!!! That looks like it's in great condition and the price is a steal.
Lucky you. Maybe I'll start going to garage sales again, haven't gone in 25+ years.

Of course you better add at least a couple decimal places for anything purchased from Festool…I'd love to have one of those Festool shopvac/dust collectors, but at something like $1500, it better be a lucky score at a garage sale as well…which reminds me of the Festool Domino Joiner I scored at a yard sale last year for $40…I figure that's the only Festool item that will ever grace my workshop.
