Chuckwagon jigsaw yoke repair

Thanks to all who responded to my post for a source for a plastic yoke for a model 610 jigsaw. Did not find a source for original part, but thanks to a respondent I watched the youtube video which showed the homemade yoke. I purchased 3/4 inch plastic today from a plastic supply company and made the yoke. Jigsaw is operating well. I hope continues to operate well into the future

GREAT you were able to make one for yourself and got it back to working order. Now how about a pic?
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.
